Background Replacement
Mirror Alley
We followed in the footsteps of Eric Johansson to make a street look as though it had been covered in mirrored tiles. I did this by flipping the image the tiles would reflect, and adding lines to look like the gaps between the tiles. I also took some tiles out to sell the effect and put one by the side of the street. On the left is the original street, on the right is the street with the added mirror tile effect.
Painting in Gallery
Young Couple
This exercise was similar to the military solders, with colorization of an old photograph, but with the added difficulty of half of this photograph missing. I used a picture of a dress I found online to reconstruct the body of the woman that was missing. This was the most challenging project yet, but I'm pretty happy with the results.

Military Officers
The next exercise I completed was the touching up and colorization of an old photograph of a group of military officers in WWII-era uniforms. Here is the before and after.
Three Children
Here is the first exercise I did for Digital Photography. We were given an old, damaged photograph found in a book and asked to touch it up in Photoshop, making it look as good as new. Here are my best efforts, It's not perfect but it looks much better.
